Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure GMP-compliant stainless steel trolleys and trays made from 316 stainless steel for safe transportation within pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. The project aims to ensure the design, fabrication, testing, delivery, and commissioning of these products meet GMP standards to facilitate efficient and hygienic handling of pharmaceutical products and materials.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Design: Development of detailed engineering drawings, submission for approval, and ensuring designs meet GMP and hygienic standards.
• Fabrication: Manufacturing of the stainless steel trolleys and trays according to approved drawings, including welding and surface finishing.
• Delivery: Transportation of the completed units to the designated site.
• Documentation: Providing all necessary documentation, including engineering drawings and quality inspection reports.
• Site Inspection: Mandatory site inspection prior to procurement to confirm site-specific requirements.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the products include:

• Material: All contact and exposed surfaces must be made from 316 stainless steel with no mild steel components exposed.
• Surface Finish: Surfaces must be finished to ensure hygiene and ease of cleaning.
• Welding: All welds must be ground smooth, blended, and free of stitch welds on exposed surfaces.
• Hygienic Design: Design must avoid hollow, open-ended sections; tube ends must be fully sealed.
• Identification: Each trolley must be permanently marked with stainless steel engraved plates.
• GMP Compliance: The trolley must meet GMP standards and be suitable for use in controlled pharmaceutical environments.

Skills Requirements

The supplier must demonstrate:

• Proven experience in designing and fabricating stainless steel GMP-compliant equipment.
• Capability to develop detailed engineering drawings and obtain necessary approvals.
• Expertise in stainless steel welding, finishing, and hygienic design principles.
• Ability to conduct quality inspections and provide comprehensive documentation.
• Compliance with relevant standards such as GMP, and the ability to conduct a mandatory site inspection.
• Experience in delivering similar projects within the pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated industries.
