Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure online design thinking training for four delegates. The training aims to provide participants with foundational knowledge and practical skills in design thinking, covering topics such as problem-solving, research techniques, ideation, prototyping, testing, and presenting solutions. The course is non-accredited and spans three days, with a certificate of attendance issued upon completion.

Scope

The scope includes the delivery of a comprehensive online training module on design thinking for four delegates. The training will encompass the following modules:

• Introduction to design thinking: understanding constraints and history
• Design theory: stages, models, mindsets, and working methods
• The challenge: research, empathy, customer insights, and framing challenges
• Understanding and framing the problem: personas, user journeys, insights
• Ideation: divergence, convergence, techniques, and tools
• Prototyping: methods, importance, and development of solutions
• Testing: design, sample size, data analysis, and feedback
• Selling your idea: documentation, business case, proof of concept, presentation

The training is delivered virtually, with all participants attending remotely.
