The primary objective of this tender is to undertake disaster intervention works to repair and restore water and wastewater infrastructure affected by floods. Specifically, the project aims to replace damaged gabions, install a grit remover, desludge the raw water channel, and repair or replace raw water pumps and motors to ensure the continued functionality of the water treatment works.

Additional projects mentioned involve rehabilitation of access roads, desilting, mechanical works, and pump refurbishment, but the main focus for the USUTHU WTW project is on the water treatment infrastructure repairs as detailed above.
