Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is for Eerste Seeks to appoint a qualified and experienced service provider to conduct job evaluation, job grading, and remuneration benchmarking across selected positions within the organization. The goal is to establish a credible and recognized methodology for internal pay equity and external remuneration comparison.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Evaluating various positions within the organization using a recognized methodology such as Paterson, Peromnes, Hay, Equate, or other internationally recognized systems.
• Preparing comprehensive reports covering job evaluation, grading, and remuneration benchmarking.
• Assessing positions across multiple departments including executive, management, technical, operational, and support roles.
• Delivering a final report, including an executive presentation and knowledge transfer workshops.
• Completing the project within approximately 4 to 6 weeks from appointment.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that the service provider must:

• Use a recognized job evaluation methodology (e.g., Paterson, Peromnes, Hay, Equate).
• Provide at least three relevant reference letters for similar projects completed in the past five years.
• Demonstrate the capability of a qualified project team with CVs of key personnel.
• Show ability to complete the project within the specified timeframe, including project management and resource availability.
• Deliver a comprehensive report and facilitate knowledge transfer workshops.

Skills Requirements

The skills and expertise required from the service provider include:

• Extensive experience in job evaluation, grading, and remuneration benchmarking, especially within manufacturing, textile, industrial, or FMCG sectors.
• Proficiency in recognized job evaluation systems and methodologies.
• Strong organizational and project management skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to prepare detailed reports and deliver presentations to senior management.
• Expertise in conducting salary survey analysis, organizational design, and developing remuneration frameworks.
• Effective communication and knowledge transfer capabilities to ensure internal staff understanding of the methodology and findings.
