The primary objective of this tender is to secure a certified training provider to deliver the Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA®) certification programme for a single delegate. The training must be comprehensive, covering all phases of the curriculum, and must culminate in the delegate obtaining the official FMVA® certification upon successful completion of all assessments and final examinations. The service provider must deliver the exact certification programme as specified, without substitution or omission of any modules.
The scope encompasses the full FMVA® certification programme, which is structured into three distinct phases and is expected to take between 3 to 6 months to complete. The provider is responsible for delivering all course materials, instruction, assessments, and the final certification exam.
The service includes all required assessments, exams, and the issuance of the certification upon successful completion.
The service provider must be an accredited provider of the FMVA® certification. The training must cover the specific technical software and methodologies integral to the programme, including advanced Excel functions, 3-statement financial modelling, DCF and comparable valuation analysis, scenario/sensitivity analysis, and data visualization techniques. The provider must have the infrastructure to deliver the course, whether online or in-person, and must administer the official FMVA® exams. The final certification awarded must be the official FMVA® credential.
The training must equip the delegate with skills across the following weighted competencies, which form the core of the certification:
This tender is subject to specific procurement regulations. The evaluation will use the 80/20 preferential point system, where 80 points are allocated for price and 20 points for specific goals related to historically disadvantaged individuals, Black women ownership, disability, and youth ownership. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and must submit the required SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 forms along with their quotation. The quotation validity period is 30 days. Payment will be made within 30 days of successful delivery, in accordance with the National Treasury Act. Bidders must also complete a Bidder's Disclosure form regarding any employment relationships with organs of state and declare any conflicts of interest.
