Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified and suitable service provider to render internal audit services to the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) for a period of thirty-six (36) months. The selected service provider will be responsible for conducting comprehensive internal audits to ensure compliance, improve operational efficiency, and support the QCTO's governance and risk management processes.

Scope

The scope of the engagement includes, but is not limited to:

• Planning and executing internal audit activities in accordance with applicable standards and frameworks.
• Assessing the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
• Providing recommendations for improvements based on audit findings.
• Preparing audit reports and presenting findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Supporting the QCTO in implementing corrective actions and monitoring progress.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the service provider include:

• Proven experience in internal auditing within similar organizational contexts.
• Ability to develop and implement audit plans aligned with organizational objectives.
• Knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO, COSO, or other applicable frameworks.
• Capability to provide detailed and comprehensive audit reports.
• Availability of qualified personnel with relevant certifications (e.g., CIA, CA, ACCA).
• Adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards during audit processes.

Skills Requirements

The skills required from the service provider's team include:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in audit software and relevant IT tools.
• Understanding of the organizational context and industry standards.
• Capacity to provide strategic insights and practical recommendations.

Additional Notes

All bidders must submit a compulsory CV template for each team member, clearly indicating their role. Multiple roles can be fulfilled by a single individual, but separate CVs must be provided for each role with detailed experience relevant to that role. The CV template includes sections for professional experience, references, and detailed employment history, ensuring uniformity and clarity in evaluation.
