The primary objective of this tender is to procure repair services for the spreader carriage rollers of specific container handling equipment at Transnet Port Terminals, Durban Pier 1. The scope includes replacing bearings before failure to ensure continued operational efficiency and prevent machine downtime.
The scope of work involves:
All work must adhere to safety procedures, with parts returned post-repair, and any damages communicated prior to repairs.
The repair must comply with:
All work must be performed on-site at Pier 1 Durban Container Terminal, with prior attendance at a compulsory site meeting and adherence to safety and quality standards.
