The primary objective of this tender is to design, manufacture, install, and commission a new sulphuric acid bulk tank at Duvha Power Station. The new tank aims to replace the existing deteriorated tank, which is out of service due to corrosion, to enable safe storage and handling of sulphuric acid for the station’s cooling water system. This will facilitate acid dosing to minimize scale formation, improve heat transfer efficiency, and prevent environmental contamination caused by acid leaks.
