Objectives

The primary objectives of this tender are to select a qualified service provider to conduct monthly ambient dust fall-out monitoring and annual NAEIS & NGERS reporting over a three-year contract period. The aim is to ensure compliance with environmental legislation, improve air quality monitoring, and support Foskor’s environmental management and reporting obligations.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of monthly ambient dust fall-out monitoring at designated stations across Foskor’s mining area and surrounding regions.
• Analysis and interpretation of ambient air quality data obtained from monitoring stations.
• Compilation and submission of annual reports to the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) covering NAEIS and NGERS requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant environmental legislation, regulations, and monitoring protocols.
• Preparation of final reports within specified timeframes, with penalties for delays.
• Adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards during monitoring activities.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Deployment and maintenance of dust fallout buckets at specified locations.
• Collection, analysis, and reporting of dust fall-out data monthly.
• Analysis and interpretation of air quality data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
• Preparation of comprehensive annual NAEIS and NGERS reports in line with regulatory requirements.
• Timely submission of reports within 20 days of sample collection.
• Use of qualified personnel with relevant experience and certifications.
• Compliance with all environmental, health, safety, and security regulations.
• Provision of necessary equipment, tools, and vehicles with proper safety certifications.
• Implementation of quality assurance and control measures.

Skills and Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:
