Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the provision of stock and collateral management operations at external warehouses. The aim is to ensure secure, accurate, and efficient management of Foskor's granular fertilizer collateral stocks across designated warehouses, adhering to relevant legislation, standards, and company specifications.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Provision of collateral management and stock monitoring at external storage facilities.
• Inspection and assessment of storage facilities for suitability and safety.
• Supervision of intake and discharge of consignments, including weighing verification.
• Monitoring storage conditions to prevent contamination and ensure security.
• Regular stock takes and reconciliation reports.
• Issuance of warehouse receipts and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
• Liability for product loss not exceeding 1% during storage.
• Performance of tally services at intake warehouses and during vessel discharge at ports.

Technical Requirements

The technical criteria include:

• Experience in collateral management, stock monitoring, and vessel discharge, supported by signed reference letters.
• Minimum of 10 years in relevant industry services.
• Provision of ISO 9001 certification and adequate insurance cover (> R500M preferred).
• Ability to manage stock loss within 1% tolerance, supported by formal confirmation.
• Implementation of continuous improvement programs with quarterly reporting.
• Compliance with legislation such as Occupational Health and Safety Act and ISO standards.
• Provision of necessary permits, licenses, and security clearances.

• Extensive experience in collateral and stock management, with proven industry track record.
• Strong inspection, supervision, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to monitor and verify weighing and stock levels accurately.
