Objectives

The primary objective is to engage a qualified service provider to facilitate and manage on-site Health and Safety refresher training for Artscape employees. The initiative aims to ensure staff maintain compliance with current occupational health and safety regulations through structured, accredited learning sessions.

Scope of Work

The contract covers refresher training for ten (10) participants. Sessions will be delivered on-site at Artscape’s premises in Cape Town. Delivery is scheduled for September or October 2026 (date to be confirmed), with provision for weekend sessions. The provider is responsible for end-to-end management of the training delivery, participant coordination, and compliance administration.

Technical Requirements

• Maintain valid registration with the Department of Employment & Labour or hold equivalent official accreditation.
• Submit detailed course documentation prior to delivery, including a course overview, target audience profile, syllabus, and outlined benefits.
• Provide all physical or digital learning materials to participants.
• Offer flexible registration options, allowing additional learners to join alternative public training cohorts if original dates are unavailable.
• Track attendance and verify full completion of the training program.
• Issue formal credit-bearing certificates and/or Trade Test certificates of compliance upon successful assessment.
• Complete and submit all mandatory government procurement declaration forms related to supply chain integrity, anti-collusion, and preferential procurement.

• Proficiency in preparing and submitting standardized procurement compliance documentation accurately and within deadlines.

• Credit-bearing/Trade Test Certificates: Official qualifications awarded upon meeting prescribed competency standards. These are nationally recognized documents that validate workplace safety compliance and may carry academic or vocational credit value.
