Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure competent sewer jetting services for the preventative, scheduled, reactive, and emergency maintenance of sewer pipelines within designated areas. The services aim to remove blockages, grease, sludge, sand, silt, roots, debris, and other obstructions to ensure continuous and efficient wastewater flow, reduce sewer overflows, spillages, and service interruptions.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Provision of sewer pipeline jetting services to clean, maintain, and restore hydraulic performance of sewer reticulation systems.
• Removal of obstructions such as blockages, grease, sludge, sand, silt, roots, and debris from sewer pipelines.
• Cleaning pipelines of various diameters and deposits, including associated sewer infrastructure.
• Conducting jetting operations in accordance with industry practices and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintaining records of cleaned pipeline sections and activities.
• Assisting with CCTV inspection preparation or post-cleaning verification where required.

Technical Requirements

The contractor shall ensure:

• Use of jetting equipment that meets industry standards and manufacturer specifications, subject to inspection by the employer.
• Compliance with occupational health and safety legislation, with trained and competent personnel.
• Proper traffic and site management, especially when working on public roads or areas.
• Provision of water, tools, consumables, transport, and operational support necessary for the work.
• Record keeping of all activities, including pipeline sections cleaned and operational conditions observed.
• Adherence to safety, environmental, and health standards throughout the project.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Relevant previous experience in sewer jetting and maintenance projects, with supporting project references.
• Qualified personnel with appropriate certifications and competency records.
• Company policies on health, safety, and quality, including Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies.
• Operational capability with suitable jetting and vacuum trucks, evidenced by licensing, insurance, and maintenance records.
• Ability to respond effectively to scheduled and emergency water delivery requirements with a clear operational methodology.
• Provision of a quality scorecard with a minimum of 75% score to qualify for evaluation.

All bidders must submit supporting documentation such as CVs, company policies, vehicle registration, insurance certificates, and evidence of equipment capability to substantiate their skills and experience.
