The primary objective of this tender is to undertake major maintenance and refurbishment works to upgrade the Sithukuthezi Community Hall in Ward 03, ensuring it is safe, functional, and meets community needs. The project aligns with the Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Council Plan 2021–2026, which emphasizes providing great public places, maintaining infrastructure, and revitalizing community spaces.
The scope involves preparing and submitting proposals for the maintenance of Ward 03 Community Hall, including repairs, renovations, and upgrades as detailed in the scope of work. The project includes activities such as removal of existing work, excavation, concrete work, roof sheeting, carpentry, joinery, ironmongery, rainwater goods, painting, electrical infrastructure, and fencing. The project duration is set at 2 months from appointment.
