Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit quotations for the supply and delivery of dignity packs to be distributed to schools by the Mandela Bay Theatre Complex (MBTC). The aim is to procure quality dignity packs that meet specified standards and are delivered within the stipulated timeframe.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of 60 dignity packs, divided into two types:
• 30 packs each containing:
  • 1x Pack Sanitary Towels
  • 1x Toothbrush
  • 1x Roll-on Deodorant
  • 1x Toothpaste
• 30 packs each containing:
  • 1x Toothbrush
  • 1x Roll-on Deodorant
  • 1x 250ml Body Lotion
  • 1x Toothpaste

The packs are to be delivered to the address: 68 Cape Road, Millpark, Gqeberha, by 15 March 2026.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the dignity packs are as follows:

• Each pack must contain the specified items as listed above.
• The items must be of acceptable quality and suitable for distribution to school learners.
• The quotation must include a breakdown of prices for each item and the total cost.
• All quotations must be valid for 90 days from the closing date.
• Suppliers must adhere to the delivery deadline of 15 March 2026.

Skills and Requirements

The tenderer must meet the following skills and requirements:

• Attach valid quotations on a company letterhead.
• Complete and submit the attached SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 forms.
• Register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide the CSD supplier number.
• Adhere to the specified special conditions, including breaking down prices and submitting quotations by the closing date and time.
• Demonstrate capacity to supply the specified dignity packs within the required timeframe.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations, including no prepayment and adherence to evaluation criteria (80/20 scoring system).
