Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is the procurement of two 23-seater bus vehicles for the Admin Centre, including licensing, with the requirement that the supplier must be a registered dealership.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply of 2 x 23-seater buses, licensing, and related documentation. The procurement process includes bid submission, technical and financial evaluations, and contract award, with specific emphasis on compliance with technical, legal, and administrative requirements.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of 2 x 23-seater bus vehicles that are new, unused, and of current models.
• Vehicles must be supplied by a registered dealership.
• Provision of licensing and registration for the vehicles.
• Completion of all compulsory bid documents, including SBD forms and technical specifications.
• Adherence to specified delivery timelines and quality standards.
• Provision of warranties (minimum 12 months or 18 months from shipment).
• Compliance with inspection, testing, and analysis requirements as stipulated.
• Provision of necessary documentation such as blueprints, manuals, and certificates.

Skills and Qualifications Requirements

• Registered dealership status with valid proof of registration.
• Registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Provision of valid Tax Clearance Certificate and B-BBEE Verification Certificate.
• Capability to deliver vehicles that meet technical specifications and quality standards.
• Experience in supplying similar vehicles and licensing services.
• Ability to undertake security screening and compliance with legal and administrative conditions.
• Competence in completing and submitting all required bid documentation accurately.
