The primary objective of this tender is to procure barcode scanners for asset officials within the Department of Transport. The scanners will facilitate asset management by enabling asset capture across various environments, ensuring efficient and accurate data collection.
The scope includes the supply of handheld barcode scanners that meet specified technical and functional requirements. The scanners must be capable of capturing assets within stores, offices, and off-site locations, and should be integrated with the Department's existing logistics system (LOGIS). The procurement also involves installation, configuration, and training to ensure full operational readiness.
