Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure two (2) media houses capable of placing SASSETA’s advertisements in Sunday National Newspapers. The advertisements will be featured in specific sections such as Careers, Tenders, and Main-body, for a duration of twelve (12) months from the date of appointment.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Placement of advertisements in the Careers, Tenders, and Main-body sections of Sunday National Newspapers.
• Advertisements to be in various sizes and formats, including but not limited to 9x3, 10x3, 12x3, 13x3, 15x3, 20x4, 20x5, 27x5, 27x10, 30x6, 39x7, 54x5, 54x10, and 54x20.
• Advertisements may be published in print, digital channels, or both channels.
• The placement period is twelve (12) months from the appointment date.
• The media houses must demonstrate sufficient circulation figures across all nine provinces in South Africa.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of advertisements in specified sizes and formats, with colour options as specified.
• Placement in the designated sections of the newspapers or digital channels.
• Submission of circulation figures confirming distribution across South Africa.
• Adherence to the specified placement schedule for a period of twelve months.
• Compliance with confidentiality and intellectual property rights, including signing a confidentiality agreement.
• Provision of proof of registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Submission of all required bidding documents, including Standard Bidding Documents (SBD forms), signed contracts, and relevant certifications.

Skills and Requirements

The bidder must possess the following skills and meet the requirements:

• Proven experience in placing advertisements in national newspapers and digital channels.
• Demonstrated ability to handle large circulation campaigns across multiple provinces.
• Strong logistical and coordination skills to ensure timely placement of advertisements.
• Ability to provide circulation data and proof of distribution.
• Compliance with legal and confidentiality requirements, including signing confidentiality and intellectual property agreements.
• Registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Capacity to manage a 12-month campaign with consistent quality and coverage.
• Financial stability to undertake the scope of work, with firm and inclusive pricing.
