Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider for the professional services related to the Driftsands Collector Sewer Augmentation – Phase 3, as part of the 2024-2025 sewer augmentation project.

Scope

The scope includes providing professional services necessary for the augmentation of the Driftsands Collector Sewer, specifically for Phase 3 of the project. The services are to support the sewer infrastructure enhancement within the specified timeframe and adhere to the project requirements.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of professional services for sewer augmentation works.
• Attendance at a compulsory clarification meeting scheduled for 10 December 2025 at 10:00 am in Gqeberha.
• Compliance with the tender submission procedures, including submission on official forms and adherence to the bid validity period of 90 days.
• Registration on the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality’s supplier database is mandatory.
• Sealed tender submissions must be received by 22 January 2026 at 11:00 am and opened publicly shortly thereafter.
• Participation in the compulsory site meeting or briefing session is required; bids from non-attendees will not be considered.

Skills Requirements

• Experience in sewer infrastructure projects, specifically sewer augmentation and collector sewer systems.
• Ability to prepare and submit professional tender documentation as per municipal requirements.
• Knowledge of municipal procurement policies and procedures.
• Registration with the municipality’s supplier database.
• Capacity to attend and participate effectively in meetings and site inspections.
