Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure security services for the Bhamshela Area within Ndwedwe Local Municipality for a duration of 36 months. The aim is to ensure the safety and security of the area through qualified and experienced service providers.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes providing comprehensive security services in the Bhamshela Area for a period of three years. Bidders are expected to supply security personnel and related services as specified in the tender documentation, ensuring continuous security coverage throughout the contract period.

Technical Requirements

• Mandatory compliance with submission of required documents, including proof of local operation, race, and gender ownership.
• Minimum functionality score of 85 points during evaluation.
• Adherence to the procurement process, including submission of sealed bids marked with project name and bid number.
• Availability of bid documents upon payment of a non-refundable fee of R1,000.00.
• Bid validity period of 120 days.
• Registration with the Central Supplier Database is mandatory.
• Compliance with the Preferential Procurement Framework Act, Act 5 of 2000, and the 80/20 preference points system as per Regulation 2022.

Skills Requirements

• Qualified security service providers with proven experience in security operations.
• Ability to demonstrate ownership and operational capacity within Kwa-Zulu Natal.
• Compliance with B-BBEE requirements, including ownership by black individuals and women, with appropriate proof documentation.
• Capacity to meet the technical and functional evaluation criteria, including scoring at least 85 points on functionality.
