The primary objective of this tender is to supply, construct, and install the redesigned structural steel roofs for Fabrication Units 1-3 at Lethabo Power Station. The project aims to ensure the structural integrity and safety of the roofs, complying with Eskom's quality and safety standards, including ISO 9001 certification and Eskom's specific requirements for quality management, safety, and environmental compliance.
The scope encompasses the supply of materials, construction, and installation of the redesigned steel roofs for Fab 1-3. It includes activities such as scaffolding, working at heights, handling asbestos-containing materials, demolition of existing structures, and managing associated risks during construction. The scope also covers compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and Eskom's contractual and quality requirements.
