Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure skilled and experienced facilitators to deliver a 3-day skills development training program on Marketing, Bookkeeping, and Financial Management. The training aims to build capacity for 14 beneficiaries per location, enhancing their skills to support sustainable creative enterprises within the Eastern Cape craft and design sector.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Conducting 3-day training sessions in three different locations: East London, Sterkspruit, and Bizana.
• Providing training on the following aspects:
  • Marketing: covering aspects such as market analysis, branding, promotion, and sales strategies.
  • Bookkeeping: including record-keeping, financial documentation, and basic accounting principles.
  • Financial Management: focusing on budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
• Delivering training to 14 participants at each location.
• Ensuring facilitators are accredited or credible, with appropriate SETA accreditation where applicable.
• Providing deliverables including training materials, attendance certificates, and reports.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Facilitators must be qualified, experienced, and preferably accredited with relevant SETA or recognized bodies.
• Training content must be practical, relevant, and tailored to the needs of small and micro enterprises in the creative sector.
• Training sessions should be interactive, participative, and capable of adult learning principles.
• Proof of facilitator accreditation and experience must be submitted within 48 hours of bid submission if not initially provided.
• Training must be delivered in accessible locations, with proof of operating addresses provided.
• Evaluation of proposals will consider capacity, experience, and track record in similar training delivery.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Proven experience in delivering training on Marketing, Bookkeeping, and Financial Management, with at least two similar projects completed successfully.
• Capability to facilitate adult learning with qualified facilitators, supported by CVs and qualifications.
• Ability to develop and deliver practical, engaging training content tailored to small enterprise needs.
• Capacity to provide references and evidence of previous successful training engagements.
• Knowledge of local context and ability to operate in the specified regions.
• Compliance with accreditation, certification, and certification credibility requirements.
