Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a reputable service provider to provide the annual renewal of the Sage Pastel Evolution license for the South African State Theatre (SAST). The service includes ensuring the software license is up-to-date, providing relevant training aligned with SAQA standards, and employing qualified facilitators to deliver the training.

Scope

The scope of work encompasses:

• Provision of the annual Sage Pastel Evolution license renewal.
• Delivery of training materials aligned with South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) unit standards.
• Engagement of registered and certified facilitators for training delivery.
• Recommendation of facilitators registered with the relevant Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA).
• Provision of a suitable training site meeting physical resource standards, including adequate space and equipment.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• The service provider must be an authorized Sage Business Partner, Sage Reseller, or accredited Sage Distributor, supported by proof of authorization.
• The provider must supply at least three (3) contactable reference letters demonstrating experience in Sage software licensing, renewals, or support services within the last five years.
• The training material must align with SAQA unit standards.
• Facilitators must be registered and certified to deliver the training, with a recommendation for a registered SETA facilitator.
• The training site must meet physical resource standards, including space and equipment.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Requisite expertise and experience in Sage Pastel Evolution licensing, renewal, and support services.
• Capability to provide training aligned with SAQA standards, delivered by registered and certified facilitators.
• Ability to recommend and employ facilitators registered with the relevant SETA.
• Provision of training facilities that meet physical and resource standards suitable for effective learning.
• Compliance with all technical specifications and mandatory requirements outlined in the tender documentation.
