Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider that specializes in providing Chief Financial Officer (CFO) training tailored to the South African context. The training aims to equip one (1) attendee with strategic, analytical, and leadership skills necessary to meet the evolving demands of the CFO role.

Scope

The scope of the project involves delivering a short course designed to develop leadership capabilities for CFOs. The course content should cover relevant topics that address the strategic, analytical, and leadership aspects of the CFO position, ensuring the attendee is prepared to handle current and future challenges in their role.

• Development of training content including specific topics relevant to CFO development.
• Provision of a training program that aligns with the development needs of the attendee.
• Delivery of the training within preferred dates as specified by the PPECB.

Technical Requirements

• The training content must include topics that enhance strategic thinking, analytical skills, and leadership capabilities.
• The proposal must outline the course methodology, relevant training materials, and development and mentoring approaches.
• The training must meet SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) goals.
• The facilitator must have verifiable experience, qualifications, and relevant accreditation in CFO training and development.
• Provision of formal reference letters demonstrating previous relevant training engagements.
• The training program should be adaptable to the South African context and aligned with the PPECB’s strategic objectives.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering CFO or senior financial leadership training.
• Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage and develop senior executives.
• Relevant qualifications and accreditation in finance, leadership, or related fields.
• Experience in developing training content tailored to the South African business environment.
• Ability to provide verifiable evidence of successful training programs and references.
• Competence in mentoring and developing leadership skills among senior financial professionals.
