The primary objective of this tender is to procure Fortinet licensing, management platforms, VPN solutions, implementation services, and annual support & maintenance to enhance the security infrastructure of the National Radioactive Waste Disposal Institute (NRWDI). The goal is to establish a secure hybrid Active Directory network spanning multiple sites, ensuring secure identity management, disaster recovery readiness, enterprise backup capabilities, and secure connectivity between geographically separated locations.

The deployment aims to secure connectivity between Midrand, Vaalputs, and Azure environments, completing the critical security licensing, management, logging, analytics, and remote access components necessary for the hybrid Active Directory infrastructure.
