Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a service provider accredited in delivering psychological or mental health training to South African organizations. The focus is on enhancing employee mental health awareness, support skills, and resource knowledge within PPECB.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Design and deliver online training sessions on managing employee mental health.
• Target MANCO level managers across PPECB’s regional offices and head office.
• Four half-day sessions scheduled between September and December 2025.
• Course content covering prevalence, types, stigma of mental health issues, relevant legislation, support skills, dealing with challenging behaviors, confidentiality, and resource awareness.
• Provision of facilitators with relevant qualifications and experience, including HPCSA registration if applicable.
• Delivery via MS Teams platform, ensuring accessibility for remote and on-premises employees.

The technical specifications for the tender include:

• Facilitator Qualifications: Facilitators must have at least 2 years of corporate training experience and be HPCSA registered psychologists or counselors where applicable.
