Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure security services at the Prince Albert Landfill Site. The service provider is expected to deploy qualified security personnel to ensure effective access control, site monitoring, and safeguarding of municipal assets and infrastructure at the landfill.

Scope

• Deploy Grade C security officers on a 24/7 basis, including weekends and public holidays.
• Provide two security guards per shift (day and night) for site monitoring and access control.
• Maintain a duty roster and ensure replacement personnel during absenteeism.
• Supply security officers with full uniforms, identification cards, and protective equipment.
• Keep and submit daily occurrence books, visitor logs, and incident reports.
• Ensure compliance with PSIRA regulations and labour legislation.
• Contract duration is initially up to 12 months, with possible extension or termination with one month notice.

Technical Requirements

1. Proof of valid PSIRA registration for the company and all deployed security officers (minimum Grade C).
2. Valid letter of good standing with the Compensation Commissioner (COIDA).
3. Deployment of security personnel on a continuous basis, including weekends and holidays.
4. Provision of full uniforms, identification, and protective gear to security officers.
5. Maintenance of daily logs, incident reports, and visitor registers.
6. Adherence to PSIRA regulations and labour laws.
7. Pricing to be submitted on a detailed schedule, including hourly rates and monthly costs.
8. Contract to be based on a fixed period, with provisions for termination and extension.
