The primary objective of this tender is to procure technical training courses over a 36-month period for the Energy Management Directorate. The aim is to enhance the technical skills and competencies of the Directorate’s personnel through a range of specialized courses, ensuring they meet required standards and improve operational efficiency.
The scope encompasses the provision of various technical training courses, including but not limited to forklift operation, mobile elevating work platforms, crane operation, scaffolding, fall arrest techniques, tree cutting, and other specialized skills relevant to energy management and safety. The courses are to be delivered at specified venues, including the eThekwini Electricity Training Centre or alternative locations within the municipal boundaries, with training sessions scheduled as per the requirements detailed in the tender documents.
The training includes theoretical instruction, practical demonstrations, issuance of certificates, and adherence to relevant standards and unit standards specified in the tender.
