Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to select a Training Service Provider to deliver management training for the Mfmp project over a period of three years. The training aims to build local capacity, enhance skills, and foster sustainable development within the community and local businesses, particularly focusing on supporting small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) and local entrepreneurs. The initiative also seeks to promote local economic growth, innovation, and ecosystem development aligned with broader sustainability and inclusive growth principles.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses:

• Provision of comprehensive management and leadership training programs tailored to local businesses and entrepreneurs.
• Management of training sessions, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Capacity building for local SMMEs and community stakeholders to sustain project benefits beyond the initial intervention.
• Engagement with local partners, including municipal entities, SMEs, and community organizations, to ensure relevance and impact.
• Monitoring and reporting on training progress and outcomes throughout the three-year period.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Demonstrated experience in delivering management and strategic planning training, preferably within local government or community development contexts.
• Ability to develop customized training modules aligned with project goals and local needs.
• Qualified trainers with relevant expertise and proven track record.
• Provision of training materials, tools, and resources suitable for adult learning.
• Implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess training effectiveness.
• Compliance with national and local standards, including SAQA, QCTO, and SETA requirements.
• Capacity to deliver training in various formats, including in-person and virtual sessions, to accommodate different learning environments.
