Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a Training Service Provider to deliver training programs for Peace Officers over a period of three years. The aim is to enhance the skills, leadership, management, and strategic planning capabilities of peace officers, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their duties effectively and uphold public safety standards.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of management and leadership training for peace officers.
• Management training focusing on leadership and strategic planning.
• Management and strategic planning training.
• Basic life support and first aid training.
• General road maintenance training.
• Precast concrete for block paving training.
• Imported solutions related to the project, including sustainable water and biogas initiatives.

The training programs are intended to build local capacity, support community development, and embed sustainable practices within the operations of peace officers and related municipal services.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Adherence to the specifications outlined in the tender documents.
• Provision of training aligned with the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and relevant SAQA ID standards.
• Delivery of training over a three-year period, with scheduled assessments and evaluations.
• Compliance with the National Treasury General Conditions of Contract.
