Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to secure security guarding services for the Breede Valley Municipality, covering the period ending 30 June 2029. Scope

Technical Requirements

• Service providers must be registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) and submit proof of registration.
• Proof of compliance with the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA), including a valid letter of good standing from the Department of Employment and Labour or an affiliated insurance body.
• Attendance at a compulsory clarification meeting scheduled for 25 March 2026, to understand the tender specifications and scope of work.
• Submission of tender documents in sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the bid number and description, by the deadline of 17 April 2026.
• Adherence to the municipal supply chain management policies and evaluation criteria, including the 80/20 preference point system.
