Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit quotations for the supply and delivery of soups and seasonings to Frere Hospital for a period of nine (09) months. The aim is to ensure the hospital is adequately stocked with quality food items, including various soups, spices, stocks, and related products, to meet its nutritional and operational needs.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses:

• Supply and delivery of a range of soups in different flavors, including chicken, vegetable, and Scotch broth, over a period of nine (09) months.
• Provision of seasonings such as salt, chicken stock, beef stock, chicken gravy, chicken spice, cinnamon, turmeric, mixed herbs, paprika, and curry powder.
• Delivery of baked beans in tomato sauce and other related food products.
• Quantities may vary based on demand and budget availability.
• Items must meet specified quality standards, including minimum shelf life of 6 to 12 months.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Compliance with specified packaging, labeling, and transportation standards to prevent damage, spoilage, or infestation during transit and storage.
• Delivery to the designated delivery point as per the contract schedule.
• Supplies must meet the quality standards outlined in the specifications, including proper labeling and expiry dates.
• All items must be new, unused, and incorporate recent design and material improvements.
• Suppliers must provide proof of compliance, such as compliance certificates, project references, and funding proof where applicable.
• Suppliers must adhere to inspection, testing, and analysis procedures to ensure goods meet contractual requirements.

Skills and Requirements

• Capacity and capability to supply and deliver the specified food items reliably over the contract period.
