The primary objective of this tender is to invite service providers to raise an external loan of R100,000,000 for Bergrivier Municipality to finance the 2025/2026 Medium Term Revenue and Expenditure Framework (MTREF) budget. The loan aims to support municipal funding needs, with the possibility of final amounts being amended in accordance with Section 28 of the MFMA during the Mid-year Budget review in February 2026.
