Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to establish a rate-based contract for a period of twenty-four (24) months to facilitate repairs, maintenance, and supply of hardware related to CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) systems and security alarms at Frere Hospital. The contract aims to support the hospital's security infrastructure by ensuring timely repairs, regular maintenance, and provision of necessary hardware as and when needed, thereby enhancing security operations and system reliability.

Scope

The scope of this tender encompasses:

• Provision of repairs, maintenance, and supplies of CCTV hardware and security alarm systems at Frere Hospital.
• Maintenance services for CCTV systems for a minimum of 3 years, including proof of completed work from reputable clients.
• Supply of specific hardware components such as Hikvision cameras, NVRs, switches, HDDs, workstations, network cables, alarm panels, and accessories.
• Adherence to all relevant regulations, including OHASA standards and hospital-specific procedures.
• Provision of warranties, documentation, and compliance certificates for all supplied hardware.
• Work to commence only upon issuance of official work orders and in accordance with hospital procedures.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications and requirements include:

• Maintenance of CCTV systems for at least 3 years with proof via job cards and certificates of completion.
• Technicians must be registered with PSiRA and qualified to install, repair, and maintain CCTV and alarm systems.
• Supply of Hikvision hardware only, with hardware meeting or exceeding specified minimum standards, all with a one-year warranty.
• All work must be completed with a valid Certificate of Compliance (COC), including reticulated drawings and IP ranges.
• Faults and repairs must be attended to within 24 hours and completed within 72 hours.
• Work must comply with OHASA regulations and hospital-specific procedures, including the use of official work orders.
• All leftover materials remain property of Frere Hospital.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required for bidders include:

• Technicians registered with PSiRA, qualified to install, repair, and maintain CCTV and security alarm systems.
• Experience in maintaining CCTV systems for at least 3 years, with documented proof of completed projects.
• Ability to supply and install Hikvision hardware, adhering to technical specifications and warranty conditions.
• Knowledge of hospital safety and health regulations, including OHASA standards.
• Capability to provide technical documentation, reticulated drawings, and certificates of compliance.
• Availability to respond promptly to faults and repairs, ensuring minimal system downtime.
