Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint qualified service providers to support various municipal functions within Metsimaholo Local Municipality. These include providing language functionality during council meetings, ensuring business continuity planning, supplying and delivering road and stormwater materials, executing asphalt road patching, maintaining sewer pump stations, supplying office furniture, delivering electrical materials, and providing clinical psychological services for municipal workforce wellness. The overarching goal is to enhance operational efficiency, infrastructure maintenance, and workforce wellbeing over a period of three years.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses:

• Provision of language functionality services during council meetings for a three-year period.
• Development and implementation of a Business Continuity Plan.
• Supply and delivery of roads, stormwater materials, manhole covers, and building materials as required.
• Execution of asphalt road patching within the municipality area.
• Mechanical support and instrumentation work for sewer pump stations.
• Supply and delivery of office furniture.
• Supply and delivery of electrical materials.
• Provision of clinical psychologist services for municipal staff wellness.

The tenders are open to a maximum of five service providers for some categories and a maximum of two for others, with all services required on an as-and-when basis for up to three years.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Language functionality services during council meetings.
• Development of a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan.
• Delivery of specified building and road materials, including stormwater components and manhole covers.
• Execution of asphalt patching works adhering to municipal standards.
• Mechanical and electrical support for sewer pump stations, including instrumentation work.
• Supply of office furniture that meets ergonomic and quality standards.
• Provision of electrical materials suitable for municipal infrastructure.
• Provision of clinical psychological services for staff wellness programs.

All services must comply with municipal specifications, safety standards, and relevant technical guidelines.

Skills Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Relevant CIDB grading for construction and infrastructure works.
• Experience in providing language services and facilitating council meetings.
• Technical expertise in business continuity planning and infrastructure maintenance.
• Proven ability to supply and deliver construction materials, electrical components, and office furniture.
• Capability to execute asphalt patching and mechanical support for sewer systems.
• Qualified personnel for psychological and wellness services.
• Strong project management and logistical skills to handle multiple service categories over a three-year period.

Bidder's team should demonstrate relevant experience, technical competence, and capacity to meet the municipality's requirements within stipulated timelines.
