The primary objectives of this tender are to undertake the rehabilitation and upgrading of various municipal infrastructure within Bela Bela Municipality. Specific aims include replacing water pipes in Bela Town (Gilfillan, Botha, Van der Merwe, Sutter, Marx, Potgieter Streets), upgrading the Pienaarsriver sewer pump station (Ward 8), repairing pavement on Moloto Street (Ward 2), rehabilitating the Meininger Street area (Ward 1), augmenting water supply sources using boreholes and a package plant, and providing electrical services such as transformers, mini substations, switchgear, and associated equipment. Additionally, there is a focus on providing short-term insurance and risk solutions for a period of 36 months.
