Technical Requirements

• Publication Standard: Must be a recognised tabloid-size or larger printed newspaper with verifiable circulation data.
• Circulation Thresholds: Minimum 3,500 copies per edition within the Garden Route district, with at least 3,500 specifically distributed within the Mossel Bay Municipal boundary.
• Digital Footprint: Proven online engagement metrics requiring a minimum of 150,000 Facebook followers, 30,000 WhatsApp channel subscribers, and 10,000 YouTube subscribers.
• Content Ratio Compliance: Advertised material must not exceed 60% of the main newspaper body per edition. The advertiser/editorial ratio must be declared.
• Distribution Coverage: Reliable delivery networks must reach all recognised suburbs, rural wards, and outlying areas including Vleesbaai, Herbertsdale, Buisplaas, Brandwag, Friemersheim, and Ruiterbos.
• Proof Approval Protocol: All advertisement layouts require written municipal sign-off prior to publication. Unapproved or unverified placements will not be compensated.
