The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the rendering of Nuclear Medicine on a rate-based contract at Frere Hospital. The aim is to ensure the hospital receives qualified, compliant, and efficient nuclear medicine services, including various scans and reports, in accordance with specified standards and regulations.
The scope encompasses the provision of nuclear medicine services, including performing specific scans such as GFR, Mag3, DMSA, Thyroid, HIDA, MIBG, Bone, VQ, Milk, Meckel’s, Sestamibi Parathyroid, and other related scans. The service provider must be situated in East London to facilitate emergency services and must be registered on relevant health and departmental systems, including LOGIS. The contract involves installation, reporting, and possibly incidental services like training and maintenance.
