Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to identify a suitable service provider to service and maintain emergency equipment for Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal. This aims to enhance operational capabilities, ensure safety compliance, and promote the province as a premier business destination by maintaining emergency equipment to relevant standards.

Scope

The scope involves providing services for the servicing and maintenance of emergency equipment as specified by Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal. The procurement aligns with the organization’s strategic goals to improve safety and operational readiness through regular servicing of emergency equipment.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of servicing and maintenance of emergency equipment as per relevant standards and regulations.
• Compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Submission of all necessary documentation, including proof of compliance, technical specifications, and relevant certifications.
• Adherence to the evaluation criteria, including proof of ownership by HDIs and disability ownership, as well as other mandatory legal and compliance documentation.
• Participation in the evaluation process, including submission of a complete RFQ response, tax compliance verification, and preference points claim.

Skills Requirements

• Technical expertise in servicing and maintaining emergency equipment.
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to provide proof of relevant certifications and compliance documentation.
• Experience in working with public entities and understanding of procurement processes.
• Capability to meet specific goals related to ownership by HDIs and disabled persons, including providing appropriate proof.
