The primary objective of this tender is to procure a services provider to deliver a legislative drafting training course. The training aims to enhance the skills of policy developers within the Department of Forestry, Fisheries & Environment by strengthening their ability to draft, analyze, and contribute to legislation related to biodiversity and environmental governance. The course will improve understanding of legislative drafting principles, statutory interpretation, and regulatory impact considerations, ensuring the development of clear, enforceable, and legally sound legislation.
The scope includes the supply and delivery of an online short course titled "Introduction to Legislative Drafting." The course will cover:
The training duration is a minimum of 2 weeks, delivered online, with a certificate of completion issued after training.
