The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider responsible for the supply and delivery of fuel for diesel electric locomotives operating in the East London and Port Elizabeth corridors. The aim is to ensure the operational availability, reliability, and efficiency of these locomotives to support commuter services in the Eastern Cape region. Additionally, the contract seeks to facilitate cost-effective, streamlined fuel supply processes, leveraging economies of scale and advanced service delivery systems.
