Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure private security services at Msukaligwa Community Health Centre for a period of four (04) months, from 01 February 2026 to 31 May 2026. The service aims to ensure the safety and security of the health centre, its staff, patients, and property.

Scope

The scope includes providing security personnel to cover day and night shifts at the Msukaligwa Community Health Centre, with specific requirements for armed guards (Grade C) during designated shifts. The security services encompass guarding the premises, ensuring safety protocols, and complying with the specifications outlined in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of 2 armed guards (Grade C) for day shifts (12 hours) and 2 armed guards (Grade C) for night shifts (12 hours) per week.
• Guards must be PSIRA registered and possess valid firearm licenses and firearm competency certificates.
• Police clearance certificates for all security officers, not older than 6 months.
• Proof of valid Public Liability insurance of R1,500,000.00 or quotation thereof.
• Provision of firearms licenses, firearm registers, and firearm permits for armed guards.
• Compliance with the General Conditions of Contract (GCC) for government procurement.
• Adherence to gazetted PSIRA rates or applicable body rates for pricing.
• Submission of all mandatory documentation as specified in the tender, including B-BBEE certification (non-mandatory), preference points claim forms, and disclosure forms.

Skills Requirements

• Security personnel must be PSIRA registered and competent in firearm handling and safety.
• Guards should have valid firearm competency certificates and firearm permits.
• Personnel must possess police clearance certificates issued within the last 6 months.
• Service providers should demonstrate experience in providing security services in similar healthcare or institutional environments.
• Ability to comply with health and safety regulations and security protocols.
• Effective communication skills and professionalism in handling security duties.
