Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a service provider for the supply and delivery of stationery items to the Independent Development Trust (Free State Region). The goal is to ensure the timely provision of quality stationery supplies that meet the specifications outlined in the terms of reference, supporting the IDT's social infrastructure development initiatives.

Scope

The scope of this tender includes:

• Supply and delivery of various stationery items as detailed in the specifications list, including printing papers, index tabs, file sleeves, dividers, colored paper, lever files, elastic bands, markers, tapes, notepads, binders, diaries, stickers, notebooks, adhesive putty, desk organizers, pen holders, sticky notes, scissors, glue sticks, staples, pencils, pens, staplers, and other related stationery.
• All items must be delivered to the specified location within the agreed timeframe.
• The total price must be inclusive of VAT and valid for at least 60 days after the closing date.
• Submission of all compulsory returnable documents and source documents as specified.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of stationery items that meet the detailed specifications listed in the RFQ.
• Adherence to quality standards and timely delivery.
• Submission of accurate pricing inclusive of VAT.
• Compliance with the sourcing and documentation requirements, including the submission of source documents and declaration forms.
• Quotations must be valid for at least 60 days post-closing date.

Skills Requirements

The tenderer must demonstrate:

• Experience in supplying office stationery and related products.
• Ability to meet technical specifications and delivery deadlines.
• Capacity to provide competitive pricing and maintain quality standards.
• Compliance with procurement policies and documentation requirements.
• Understanding of the sourcing process, including adherence to the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022.
