Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for vegetation clearing, weed eradication, and site cleaning at Ethandakukhanya Community Health Centre. The aim is to ensure the removal of weeds, invasive vegetation, grass, and waste around the facility to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Providing all labour, plant, equipment, materials, and transport necessary for the works.
• Clearing all weeds, grass, and invasive vegetation around buildings, courtyards, parking areas, walkways, and other specified areas.
• Removing waste and debris from the site.
• Specific areas such as pump areas, pipe installations, fire equipment zones, drainage trenches, and other related sections as specified in the detailed scope.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Complete vegetation clearance and removal of weeds, grass, invasive plants, and waste.
• Disposal of waste and debris with proof of disposal provided.
• Adherence to national standards and compliance with the General Conditions of Contract (GCC) issued by National Treasury.
• Provision of proof of experience and relevant documentation as required.
• Completion of all mandatory documentation, including tax compliance PIN, signed SBD forms, and CSD report.
• Submission of detailed price schedules and adherence to the specified lead time of 60 days.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from bidders include:

• Demonstrable experience in vegetation clearing, site cleaning, and related horticultural services.
• Ability to operate relevant machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of environmental and safety standards applicable to site cleaning and vegetation management.
• Capability to provide proof of previous similar projects and references.
• Compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including tax and supplier database registration.
