Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit quotations from qualified service providers to deliver a Waste Management Training Course. The training aims to enhance participants' understanding of integrated waste management practices and equip them with the necessary skills and competencies to implement effective waste management strategies.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Providing a face-to-face Waste Management Training Course spanning 5 days.
• Training participants to demonstrate understanding of integrated waste management principles.
• Assessing participants to certify their competency at NQF Level 5, Unit Standard 264461.
• Including venue, catering, training materials, and issuance of certificates of attendance.
• Ensuring trainers are accredited with SAQA, LG SETA, or relevant bodies.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the service provider include:

• Accreditation with SAQA, LG SETA, or relevant accredited body to deliver NQF Level 5 training.
• Provision of training materials, tools, and assessments aligned with the specified unit standards.
• Delivery of face-to-face training over 5 days at a suitable venue.
• Assessment of delegates to determine their competency level and issuance of certificates.
• Provision of venue, catering (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea), and necessary facilities.
• Demonstration of understanding of integrated waste management concepts and practices.

Skills Requirements

The service provider must possess:

• Accreditation and proven experience in delivering NQF Level 5 waste management training.
• Ability to assess and certify participants based on unit standard 264461.
• Capacity to facilitate face-to-face training effectively within the stipulated timeframe.
• Skills in training delivery, assessment, and certification processes.
• Provision of training tools and materials, including laptops, flipcharts, and assessment tools.
• Experience in managing venue logistics and catering services for training sessions.
