Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified, accredited, and experienced service provider to conduct ISO/SANS 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) Certification Audit Services. This will enable the National Lotteries Commission (NLC) to obtain certification against ISO/SANS 37001 and enhance its governance, ethics, and compliance environment.

Scope

The scope of work is limited to providing complete ISO/SANS 37001 certification audit services, specifically covering the certification process. The service provider must:

• Conduct Stage 1 and Stage 2 certification audits in line with international standards.
• Ensure all auditors are SANAS accredited or recognized by an international accreditation body, qualified, experienced, competent, and independent.
• Deliver the final certification pack, including the certification decision report, audit findings summary, and formal certificate.
• Provide all deliverables such as the ISO/SANS 37001 certificate, certification decision records, attendance registers, evidence logs, and audit checklists.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of complete certification audit services for ISO/SANS 37001.
• Auditors must be accredited and qualified as Lead Implementers or Lead Auditors in ISO 37001, with proof of certification.
• Demonstration of previous experience in conducting ISO/SANS 37001 certification audits, including relevant references and client feedback.
• Provision of a detailed methodology and approach outlining the audit process and deliverables.
• Team members must possess relevant qualifications in auditing, compliance, or risk management (e.g., BCom, LLB, Internal Audit, Risk Management) and have significant experience in certification audits.
• Attaching CVs of key team members, especially the team leader, with relevant experience and certifications.

Skills Requirements

The skills and competencies required from the service provider include:

• Proven experience in conducting ISO/SANS 37001 certification audits, with a minimum of 1-5 years depending on the role.
• Qualified auditors with ISO 37001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer certifications.
• Strong understanding of anti-bribery management systems, governance, and compliance standards.
• Ability to develop and implement comprehensive audit methodologies and approaches.
• Excellent report writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Capacity to deliver all required documentation, including audit reports, certification decisions, and supporting evidence logs.
