Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a blower that meets the specifications outlined in the attached specification sheet. The blower is intended to provide the driving force necessary to extract off-gas from the wet scrubber system in the NW PlasGas and CWOPG demonstration facilities, ensuring proper discharge into the process ventilation system.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Supply of a blower with specified mechanical, electrical, and general properties as detailed in the specification sheet.
• Provision of accessories such as inlet and outlet silencers and a common base plate.
• Delivery of the blower along with vendor data, including performance curves, dimensions, efficiency, sound pressure levels, and rotational speed.
• Inspection and testing of the blower at the supplier’s facility prior to delivery.
• Compliance with safety, quality, and process connection requirements specified in the tender documentation.

Performance and Mechanical Specifications

• Type of fan: Regenerative (vendor to specify details)
• Maximum noise level: 85 dB(A) at 1 meter distance
• Electrical specifications: Voltage, phase, and frequency to be advised by the vendor; phase and voltage TBD, frequency 50 Hz
• Vibration sensors: Optional, vendor to specify
• Motor: Variable speed adjustment required; vendor to advise further

Process and Fluid Properties

• Fluid: Off-gas mixture containing CO, HCl, HF, O, and N with variable composition depending on process phase
• Operating temperature: 35°C to 65°C
• Suction pressure: Up to -12.5 kPa(g)
• Discharge pressure: Up to 25 Pa(g)
• Fluid density: 0.84 kg/m³ to 2.1 kg/m³ depending on process phase
• Mass flow rate: 12.5 kg/h to 50.5 kg/h
• Volume flow rate: 14.88 m³/hr to 24.05 m³/hr

Mechanical and Material Properties

• Fan components such as casing, shaft, shaft sleeves, impeller, base plate, seal, hub, belt, and helical gear to be specified by vendor
• All materials of construction to meet specified standards (e.g., ASTM A182-F304/304L)

Process Connection

• Suction and discharge nozzles: 100 NB, rated at 150# flange specification, RF
