Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure advanced Microsoft Suite training (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) for staff members of Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal. The training aims to equip staff with the necessary skills, competencies, and tools to enhance their performance and support the organization’s mandate to promote KwaZulu-Natal as an investment destination and facilitate trade.

Scope

The scope involves providing comprehensive training on advanced features of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to 12 staff members. The training content should include, but is not limited to:

• Conditional formatting
• Dynamic tables
• Advanced validation and formulas
• Sorting data
• Creating presentation graphs
• Importing images into presentations
• Manipulating images and objects in presentations
• Applying animation effects and transitions

The training will be delivered online (virtually), and successful completion will be evidenced by an examination leading to a certificate of competency.

Technical Requirements

The service provider must:

• Be accredited with relevant bodies and provide proof of accreditation.
• Have an accredited facilitator for the training.
• Deliver training virtually, ensuring accessibility and engagement for all participants.
• Provide comprehensive course content covering the specified advanced features of Microsoft Suite.
• Ensure the training leads to a certification of competency upon successful examination.

Skills Requirements

The service provider and facilitator must possess:

• Relevant accreditation and certification in Microsoft Suite training.
• Experience in delivering advanced Microsoft Office training, preferably in a virtual environment.
• Ability to develop and deliver tailored training content aligned with the specified scope.
• Proven track record of training similar number of staff members effectively.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills to ensure participant engagement and understanding.
