The electronic RFP document, outlining the requirements will be provided to interested bidders upon the payment and verification of a non-refundable fee of R150.00 from Monday 15 February 2021. Proof of payment to be emailed to [email protected] quoting (MBDA HRC 12/20) in the subject line as well as the company contact details. The last date for queries on this tender shall be 11 March 2021. No further queries shall be responded to after this date.

The closing date and time is Thursday 18 March 2021 at 12h00; where after tenders will be publicly opened via Microsoft Teams. Proposals MUST be submitted on one (1) original hard copy plus one (1) copy on a compact disk (CD or USB) and must be placed in a sealed envelope and clearly marked with “REQUEST FOR SERVICES TO OPERATE AND MANAGE THE HELENVALE RESOURCE CENTRE (MBDA HRC 12/20)”.

FAILURE TO SUBMIT AN ORIGINAL HARD COPY PLUS ONE (1) COPY ON A COMPACT DISK (CD OR USB) WILL DEEM THE BID NON-RESPONSIVE. All responses must be placed in the MBDA tender box marked MBDA HRC 12/20 on the 1st Floor, Tramways Building, Corner Lower Valley Road & South Union Street, Central, Port Elizabeth. Bids may only be submitted on bid documentation provided by the MBDA.

Briefing Session

A compulsory briefing session will be held at the Helenvale Resource Centre on, Monday 22 February 2021 at 10:00. Due to covid-19, all Bidders who will be attending the compulsory briefing session must confirm their attendance by emailing such to [email protected] and quote the tender reference number (MBDA HRC 12/20) by 09:00 on Monday 22 February 2021. Please note only one (1) representative per potential bidding company will be allowed to attend the compulsory briefing meeting. All attendees must sign the attendance register.

NB: All COVID-19 precautionary measures must be strictly observed as “no mask no entry” principle will apply.

Joint Ventures, Consortia and Subcontracting:
