CLOSING DATE: 23 AUGUST 2019 CLOSING TIME: 12H00
Oudtshoorn municipality hereby invites Prospective suppliers to quote for the following: “REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF 132 KW SOFT STARTER AND 132 KW VARIABLES SPEED DRIVES”
Formal Quotations sealed and clearly marked “RFQ: 07/08/19: REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF 132 KW SOFT STARTER AND 132 KW VARIABLES SPEED DRIVES” must be placed in the Municipal tender box, posted to the Supply Chain Management Offices, Church Street 26, OUDTSHOORN 6625 for attention: Tender Box no later than 12h00 on Friday, 23 August 2019 and will be opened in public immediately thereafter in the Committee Room, Supply Chain Management Offices, Church Street 26, OUDTSHOORN 6625.
The municipality reserves the right to withdraw any invitation to tender and / or re-advertise or to reject any formal quotation or to accept a part of it. The Municipality does not bind itself to accept the lowest formal quotation or award a contract to the bidder scoring the highest number of points. Potential bidders should note that all projects in terms of this formal quotation may not materialize.
Formal quotations will be evaluated and adjudicated in terms of 80/20 Preference Point System prescribed by the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (Act5 of 2011) and the Municipality’s Supply Chain Management Policy. Further that Local Content and Production will form part of evaluation and therefore all potential bidders who fail to meet the minimum threshold for local content will not be considered for award.
It is prerequisite that all prospective service providers who are not yet registered on the Western Cape’s Central Supplier Database register without delay on website www.csd.gov.za.
