The assessment aims to evaluate the design, effectiveness, and maturity of the Bank’s compliance and AML frameworks, processes, controls, and technology, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices. The ultimate goal is to identify gaps, enhance system effectiveness, and develop short-, medium-, and long-term improvement initiatives to strengthen compliance and AML maturity levels.

  • Reviewing policies, procedures, internal controls, frameworks, and operational processes against regulatory frameworks including the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, the National Credit Act, the Public Finance Management Act, and the Land and Agricultural Development Bank Act.
  • Evaluating processes and operations within the existing compliance environment.
  • Performing diagnostic analysis supported by a clear methodology, considering dimensions like People, Process, and Technology.
  • Identifying gaps and recommending enhancements to improve the effectiveness of the systems.
  • Developing initiatives to increase compliance and AML maturity levels over short, medium, and long-term periods.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders, including executive management and governance structures, through reports and presentations.

Technical Requirements

The service provider must meet the following minimum functional requirements:

  • Experience in conducting Compliance and AML Management System Maturity Assessments, preferably within the public sector or regulated environments.

  • Proven ability to incorporate organizational trends, leading practices, and benchmarking into the assessment approach.
  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose system maturity levels and identify gaps.

Joint Ventures, Consortia and Subcontracting:

Most large tenders are composed of tasks in a number of different fields, and it is not always possible for a single company to cater for all of them, and therefore Joint Ventures and Consortia are formed to then submit a tender together.

Government tenders are also requiring the subcontracting of a percentage of the tender work, and the trouble is then finding Subcontractors to comply with the tender requirements

To assist companies with finding tender partners and subcontractors, you can now submit your contact details and company information on this page, so other interested parties can contact you for purposes of forming Joint Ventures and subcontracting

You will need to supply your details on every tender you are interested in tendering for. For this you need an active Business Listing - Register and Login at My Account to create a Business Listing

NOTE: This is not a tender application form, it is meant to facilitate the meeting of partners to form a Joint Venture or Subcontractor relationship for this tender only
